The Happening Band (Proishestviye) was formed in Moscow in June 1994 by Alexey Karakovski (vocals, guitar) and Michael Gusman (bass, vocal) as a street band.

He founded some independent festivals, publishing series. Current line-up: Alexey Karakovski, Michael Gusman, Olga Tereshchenko (piano, vocals), Michael Ashihmin (saxophone), Alina Zvereva (flute), Dmitry Uryupin (drums).
